Beijing indie rock stalwarts Birdstriking have graced the scene for fifteen years now, elevating their sound from their scrappy noise-punk roots to almost arena rock level while maintaining their sincerity and infectious energy throughout. They’re celebrating with a new live LP and a string of special showcases nationwide. Simply put, they’re in my bracket for favorite live acts in the Mainland - a bottle rocket of vigor, vitality, and spirit - rock and roll at its purest. A toast to the Birdstriking team.
